Music festivals are an essential part of the UK summer for millions of people. For a cheeky, playful brand like Nando’s, festivals are a great place to connect with their audience, and find new converts. Nando’s challenge for Bigger, we how do we show in a way that makes us an authentic part of the experience, but also stand out from the crowd?

In recent years we’ve seen slides, swings, ball-pits and more interactive photo-booths than you can shake a selfie-stick at. Competition to have the most talked about activation is fierce. So how do you stand out from the crowd? You Rule the Roost. Obvs.

For the last three years we’ve helped Nando’s be the name (and food) on festival goers lips at the end of the season. We built their infamous Cock o’ Van food truck, which has its own DJ stage built right on top of the trunk.  which tours festivals across the UK with its ‘Rule the Roost’ activation.

Every week over the summer, the Cock o’Van sets up at another festival to Rule the Roost. Last year saw the likes of Professor Green, Rudimental, Sigma, Route 94, Katy B and Years & Years climb up to the stage and deliver pop-up performances while hungry punters feast on Nando’s famous Peri-Peri. The perfect UK summer vibe.
